Household Appliance Recycling Week

Monday-Saturday, April 21 - 26, 2008

Drop off your old appliances for no fee between 8am and 4pm at
PSC Metals, Inc (formerly the Luntz Corporation)

Contact your trash hauler to see if they are participating.
They may pick up your appliances for a minimal cost

If your trash hauler is not part of this program, the District
can refer you to a hauler. Call 1-800-678-9839.
Please note: If you are using this curbside service, it is the
homeowner's responsibility to remove doors from their appliances
before placing them at the curb.

    - Microwaves
    - Water Holding Tanks
    - Weed Eaters/Lawn Mowers
      (drained of gas and oil)**
    - Outdoor Grills
      (no propane tanks)**

Non-Acceptable items
    - Televisions**
    - Gas Tanks
    - Tires
    - Batteries**
    - Paint/Aerosol Cans**
    - 55 Gallon Drums
    - Pressurized Cylinders

    * The district will provide removal of the refrigerant at the collection
    site at no cost.

    **Gas, oil, propane tanks, batteries, TVs and paint/aerosol cans may
    be taken to the Household Hazardous Waste Collection sponsored by
    the Solid Waste District in the fall of each year.
